2012-2013 marks FOCL's 18th year sponsoring the Rosamond Gifford Library Lecture Series.

What started out as just a great idea has become a speaker series of national renown and a source of pride for Central New York. The Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series is the largest library-related lecture series in the country. In 18 seasons, the Friends of the Central Library has brought over 100 world-famous authors to the Central New York.

Authors who participate in our lecture series share stories of their works, personal lives, and life experiences. A question and answer session which follows each lecture allows for audience participation.

Lectures are held at the John H. Mulroy Civic Center, 411 Montgomery Street, Syracuse, NY.  Books, provided by Creekside Books & Coffee, are available for purchase on the orchestra level.

All lectures begin promptly at 7:30 pm.
